All the people in our apartment went out on Friday night to see the night market in KL. There were a lot of stores selling souvenirs and other interesting things. We also got to barder for anything we bought which was interesting. The strange thing in KL is that stores are open really late. This market closed at 10 and most stores close at 11. This is also because the people are not very active in the mornings. After exploring the market, a few of us were ready for a drink. We wondered around the streets of KL looking for bars but this was harder than we thought it would be since it is such a religious country. We finally found this roof top bar on top of a hostel. We met a lot of really interesting people our age from all around the world like London, Finland, Australia, US, Norway, France and probably some other that I didn't get a chance to chat with. We even got to meet the owner and participate in some games! It was nice to get out for a bit such a fun place to be!
Today, Jessica and I had to give presentation to classes in the different centers. They are located throughout KL and it took quite a while to get to them- also because the traffic here sucks! Trains are NEVER on time, red lights stay red for very long periods of time, there are no rules for pedestrians, and there are crazy motor bikes zig zagging through traffic. Our assistant manager had to drive us around. We were pretty exhausted by the end of the day and took a dip in the pool to relax. Here our some pictures of the last few days.

My boss, Mr. Christopher at the buffet holding fish paste in banana leaf. This was burned on a fire and tasted really good
Mr. Christopher, me and Jessica enjoying desserts
Local fruits: Dragonfruit, yellow watermelon and lychee
After the buffet, we needed a walk to digest our food. We went to china town (it was 10pm here) and walked by all the vendors. They are quite pushy, especially towards white people.
Fresh Sugar Cane juice. The cane was run through this machine multiple times to extract all the juices.
Walking to the night market. Beautiful buildings all lit up in changing colors
Scenery of down town Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Night Market
Lots to buy
This was the next destination after the night market. View from the roof top. You can see the KL tower and the Patronas Towers lit up.
