This one is for you mom (en oma). These are the fabrics that you like! Instead of buying some, I made a picture which will last longer
This is some local art
Here is a picture of our instructor with a monkey on her back
These are all the monkeys waiting for food. They even had their babies on them which were yellow and we could pet the babies if we gave the mothers food
After spending two hours with the monkeys, we got in the vans again and drove 30 more minutes to arrive at the jetty firefly park resort. We had supper at a seafood restaurant. We got crabs (with the heads- they had no meat and looked creepy since the eyes were still on it), shrimp, fish, tofu, and other interesting dishes. We then had to wait until it got dark. Even though the sun went down, it was still very humid and we were sweating all over. When it was dark, we boarded a boat to look at the fireflies. These flies feed off the leaves of a particular tree/bush that only grows along the banks of this river. It was really cool to see all these little lights flying around. We were not allowed to take any pictures since that would scare the flies but you can probably google it. The boat ride was less than 30 minutes but still a cool experience. After that, we got back on the air conditioned vans and drove home. We arrived back at the apartments at 9:45, which gave enough time for blogging and going to bed early.
Today, I'm hanging out with Tristin who came home because she was not feeling well at work. I have to go get some groceries soon and then go to work around 2. I only have 2 presentations today but our manager want's to see us in the office sometime.
Sounds like you are having an amazing trip!! I love all the pictures your posting, hope you continue to enjoy all these awesome, new experiences!! Im so jealous :)
